Emerald Skye
This high-density, six-storey luxury residential apartment building is situated on a north-south sloping site, requiring extensive cut and fill work to level the ground. This process allowed for the inclusion of basement parking, optimizing the use of the site. The building's foundation was designed to address the site's less-than-ideal founding conditions, utilizing a raft foundation with friction piles to ensure stability. The ground and first floors consist of a concrete sub-frame with brick infill panels and in-situ concrete flooring. From the second to the fifth floors, the structure is built with load-bearing brickwork and precast concrete floors, with the first-floor functioning as a transfer slab.
The architectural design embraces modern aesthetics while prioritizing energy efficiency. The building is equipped with integrated heat pumps located on the roof, providing both heating and cooling to enhance comfort while minimizing energy consumption. The result is a sophisticated living environment that seamlessly blends form, function, and sustainability, offering residents stunning views, natural light, and an uninterrupted connection to the surrounding landscape.
